Universal System
ProXima U is a universal digital radiography system for a wide range of general and specialist diagnostic imaging applications. Programmable auto-positioning of the X-ray tube and large (43×43 cm) digital flat panel detector enable efficient and flexible imaging of all anatomies of both mobile and immobile patients.

Use in First AID
ProXima U is particularly suitable for patients on stretchers, like in First Aid. The range of movements and the u-shaped arm allows any kind of stretcher projection, in both frontal and lateral view. The supplied stretcher has fixed height tabletop and can hold up to 250 Kg patient’s weight.

Stitching
With the optional stitching package, it is possible to acquire full-spine and full-leg images. Images are acquired through a fully automatic and combined movement of tube and detector. The series of 2,3 or 4 images are then automatically stitched into one single image by the processing software. Stitching procedure is quite fast to minimize any patient’s movement. A wheeled patient stabilization tool with radio-opaque ruler is supplied as well.

XIP® processing
Image quality
Optimal image with just three parameters
The XIP® algorithm automatically optimizes acquired images based on exam type and anatomical region. The software enhances the content details in both high attenuation image areas (shoulders, abdomen) and low attenuation images areas (lungs, cavities).
Connectivity
The Avanse DR software includes a full dicom package which is compatible with any RIS, PACS or Dicom Priter.
The daily worklist is automatically downloaded from the RIS. The avanse DR software automatically sets all parameters for the selected patient. Once the study is completed, it can be sent to any PACS or DICOM Printer.
